Shredder collage by Kosuke Kawamura, this time silkscreened. First, a myriad of 5 mm wide masking tapes were applied to the panel and silkscreen printed on top of them. The position of the tape and the plate are then shifted and the print is made again. The process is repeated several times, resulting in a special work with unevenness and a three-dimensional effect. The unnatural beauty that can only be achieved by human hands is appealing. In addition, the Japanese paper on the surface of the panel may have been torn or cracked when the tape was reapplied, but we hope you will understand that this is part of the artistic expression.
